Latrobe City is made up of four major urban centres: Churchill, Moe/Newborough, Morwell and Traralgon, with smaller townships of Boolarra, Glengarry, Toongabbie, Tyers, Traralgon South, Yallourn North, and Yinnar.

Latrobe City is less than two hours drive from Melbourne and boasts all the recreational and cultural facilities of a large diverse regional centre including the Latrobe Regional Gallery and Latrobe Performing Arts Centre with the added benefit of being nestled amongst some of the best tourist attractions in the state, such as the Morwell National Park, Hazelwood Pondage, Lake Narracan, Powerworks Museum, Victory Park and Moe Botanical gardens.

With a population of over 73,000, the beautiful and highly productive Latrobe Valley is located at the gateway to Gippsland in the South East corner of the state of Victoria. Traralgon Indoor Aquatic and Leiusre Feasibility StudyTraralgon Indoor Aquatic and Leisure Feasibility Study - Survey

Latrobe City Council has engaged external consultants to work with Council to develop a comprehensive study into the feasibility of developing an indoor aquatic and leisure facility in Traralgon. An extensive consultation schedule for this project has been developed, of which an important component is collecting feedback from the public. Latrobe City Council encourages all residents to complete this survey. Only one survey per household will be accepted. Complete Survey>
